Malik Willis enters the 2026 season as the Miami Dolphins’ full-time starting quarterback following a three-year, $67.5 million contract signed in March after efficient backup work with the Packers. Miami’s rebuilding roster features a young, unproven wide receiver group after major departures, a new coaching staff, and an expected run-heavy scheme emphasizing RPOs and designed runs with De’Von Achane. Projections center on roughly 2,700–3,000 passing yards over 14–17 games, reflecting limited aerial volume and efficiency over attempts. Recent training camp reports highlight Willis’s command of the offense and dual-threat ability, though the Dolphins’ weak supporting cast and schedule could cap passing production while boosting rushing output. The market reflects trader consensus on a low-volume passing environment for the 27-year-old.
