Jordan Addison enters the 2026 season as the Minnesota Vikings' clear No. 2 wide receiver behind Justin Jefferson, with expectations for a rebound after a down 2025 in which he posted career lows of 42 receptions and 610 yards across 14 games amid inconsistent quarterback play. The arrival of Kyler Murray under center is the primary driver of optimism, as the new starter is viewed as an upgrade over the 2025 rotation that limited downfield opportunities. Addison, now 24, flashed big-play ability in prior seasons with averages exceeding 13 yards per catch and has secured regular first-team reps through training camp despite a minor thumb issue. His target share and efficiency will hinge on Murray's accuracy and the offense's overall volume, with the Week 1 matchup against Green Bay offering an early indicator of usage patterns.
