This market will resolve according to the listed player who wins the 2026 Irish Open tournament. If a listed player is eliminated from contention for the Irish Open tournament based on the official rules of the tournament, the relevant market will immediately resolve to "No". If an unlisted player wins the Irish Open tournament this market will resolve to "Other". In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by DP World Tour official tournament rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If no winner is announced by September 20, 2026 at 11:59PM ET this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the DP World Tour website (https://www.europeantour.com/).Shane Lowry's commanding position atop the Amgen Irish Open leaderboard at Trump International Golf Links Doonbeg reflects the market's emphasis on links-course proficiency and recent momentum. The 2019 Open champion has leveraged his low ball flight and wind management to build a substantial lead on the exposed Atlantic layout, where home support and familiarity with Irish conditions provide a measurable edge over international contenders. Defending champion Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm remain relevant through major-winning pedigree and ball-striking consistency, yet the field’s depth—spanning breakout performers like Jacob Skov Olesen and established names such as Patrick Reed and Joaquin Niemann—highlights how variable scoring and course setup can elevate under-the-radar players with strong recent form or links experience. Trader consensus assigns minimal implied probability to any single long-shot outcome in this 150-player event.
