This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Liga Nacional (Guatemala) for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Liga Nacional (Guatemala) for the 2026 season per the rules of Liga Nacional (Guatemala) (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Liga Nacional (Guatemala); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The early stages of the Apertura 2026 in Guatemala’s Liga Nacional keep runner-up odds tightly bunched, as Antigua GFC leads the table on 21 points from eight matches while Municipal sits one point behind and San Pedro, Guastatoya, and Mixco remain within striking distance. Recent results show form swings—Antigua’s attacking output, Municipal’s defensive resilience, and Guastatoya’s recovery wins—alongside national-team call-ups that forced schedule adjustments and tested squad depth. Historical contenders such as Xelajú MC, Comunicaciones, and Cobán Imperial retain realistic paths through the 22-round regular season and subsequent liguilla, while lower-table sides like Suchitepéquez and Malacateco still hold theoretical upset potential in a league where points gaps narrow quickly and playoff qualification remains fluid. This parity produces the observed market clustering around 50 percent implied probability for each listed club.
