This market will resolve according to the player named MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the 2026 World Star Challengers Invitational (WSCI 2026), currently scheduled for September 20 to October 2, 2026, with the Grand Final scheduled for October 2, 2026. If the organizer presents both a tournament MVP award and a Finals MVP award, the tournament MVP award will be used; if only a Finals MVP award is presented, that award will be used. If this tournament is postponed after October 16, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or an MVP has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". If multiple players are declared an MVP (e.g., due to ties or special circumstances), this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed in-game name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizers, TJ Sports and Riot Games. However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/World_Star_Challengers_Invitational/2026) may also be used. The inaugural WSCI 2026 brings together 16 Tier 2 League of Legends squads from LCK CL, LDL, EMEA, Americas, and APAC for group-stage best-of-ones followed by best-of-five knockouts beginning September 20. With the event days away and no prior global stage for most participants, traders see a wide-open MVP field where dozens of emerging talents carry comparable implied probabilities near 50 percent. Team qualification paths, recent regional form, and stylistic matchups in the double round-robin groups create multiple pathways for standout carry performances, while the single-elimination bracket rewards individual heroics without favoring any one region or roster. This parity keeps the race tightly bunched until on-stage results begin to separate candidates.
