TreVeyon Henderson enters the 2026 NFL season as a second-year Patriots running back sharing the backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson, the primary early-down option. As a 2025 rookie, he posted 911 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 180 carries while adding receiving production, showcasing explosive big-play ability with strong yards-after-contact and breakaway metrics. An ankle injury sustained in late August training camp sidelined him for Week 1, though he practiced fully and is cleared for Week 2 against the Steelers. His projected workload remains rotational rather than workhorse, with upside tied to red-zone opportunities, offensive efficiency under quarterback Drake Maye, and any increased role if Stevenson’s usage shifts. Durability concerns and the timeshare cap his season-long rushing touchdown ceiling.
