This market will resolve to the player who scores the most goals during the 2026-27 Serie A season. Only goals scored in Serie A matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., domestic cups, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, international matches) will not count for this market. If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 Serie A season is canceled or not completed by June 14, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Serie A. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Donyell Malen’s rapid integration at Roma has driven the current market positioning for Serie A’s 2026-27 capocannoniere. The Dutch forward, who arrived permanently from Aston Villa after a prolific mid-2025/26 loan spell that yielded 14 league goals in 18 appearances, has opened the new campaign with five goals in Roma’s first three matches, including a hat-trick against Fiorentina. This early output, combined with Roma’s strong start under Gian Piero Gasperini and Malen’s clinical finishing in limited touches, has elevated trader consensus around his candidacy. Established threats such as Lautaro Martínez at Inter, who claimed the prior title with 17 goals, and arrivals like Rasmus Højlund at Napoli remain in the mix through consistent historical tallies and team attacking volume, keeping the race competitive despite Malen’s momentum.
