The tightly bunched implied probabilities reflect a wide-open race driven by several workhorse backs sharing goal-line carries in potent offenses early in the 2026 season. Breece Hall leads trader sentiment on the strength of the Jets’ run-first scheme and consistent red-zone volume, while Jahmyr Gibbs and Derrick Henry remain close behind thanks to their proven efficiency and high-touchdown upside in Detroit’s and Baltimore’s attacks. Rookies such as Ashton Jeanty and established options like Jonathan Taylor add volatility through favorable matchups and team schemes. Recent Week 1-2 rushing totals and injury reports continue to shift short-term probabilities without establishing a clear frontrunner.
