Several MLS clubs maintain comparable defensive records late in the 2026 regular season, keeping the race for the most clean sheets tightly contested. Los Angeles FC leads with 13 shutouts behind Hugo Lloris and a back line allowing just over one goal per game, while Nashville SC sits close with 11-12 and strong home results. Houston Dynamo and Vancouver Whitecaps also post double-digit clean sheets through disciplined organization and reliable goalkeeping from Jonathan Bond and Yohei Takaoka. Colorado Rapids and a handful of others remain within striking distance, and the compressed probabilities reflect how minor differences in remaining fixtures, set-piece defending, or late-season injuries could shift the final tally among this group.
