This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club finishes in the top 2 (positions 1 through 2) of the final standings of the 2026-27 LALIGA season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in the top 2 of the 2026-27 LALIGA season (e.g., they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), this market will resolve to "No". In the event of a tie for the final top-2 position, this market will resolve based on the clubs officially recognized by LALIGA as finishing in the top 2 of the final standings. If the 2026-27 LALIGA season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are otherwise no final standings declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official information from LALIGA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Barcelona and Real Madrid have opened the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as the clear frontrunners for the top two spots, with the Blaugrana holding a perfect record through four matches and a +15 goal difference while Real sit level on points after five games. Hansi Flick’s side has maintained squad cohesion from its prior title wins, led by high-output attackers including Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Fermin Lopez. Jose Mourinho’s return to Real has coincided with an immediate response after an early domestic defeat, highlighted by Kylian Mbappe’s scoring form and a 4-1 win over Rayo Vallecano. Atletico Madrid and the rest of the field trail significantly in both points and underlying metrics, consistent with pre-season simulations that projected the two clubs to occupy the top positions in the vast majority of outcomes. Early schedule strength and injury situations will shape whether the gap narrows before the first international break.
