This market will resolve according to the player that finishes Round 1 of the main tournament at the 2026 Open de France with the lowest cumulative score to par. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the player with the lower score on the back 9 of the first round. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player that records more eagles thus far in the main tournament. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player who records more birdies thus far in the main tournament. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player who records fewer bogeys thus far in the main tournament. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 Open de France is cancelled, postponed after October 11, 2026 at 11:59PM ET, or if an official Round 1 leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the event organizer or governing body. The Open de France first-round leader market at Le Golf National reflects a tightly bunched field because a large 144-player roster on the revamped Albatros layout produces high variance in opening scores, even under calm early-September conditions. Multiple mid-tier DP World Tour players with recent low rounds or strong ball-striking form, including Daniel Young, Adrian Otaegui, Andres Gallegos, and Albin Bergstroem, sit near the top of implied probabilities alongside established names such as Antoine Rozner and Guido Migliozzi. Morning and afternoon tee times, combined with the course’s demanding par-71 setup that rewards precision off the tee and around the greens, allow any competitor to post a sub-par total without a clear standout. Trader consensus therefore spreads risk evenly rather than concentrating on tournament favorites like Ludvig Åberg or Matt Fitzpatrick, whose overall form matters less for a single-round outcome.
