Columbus Crew host Orlando City SC in the U.S. Open Cup semifinal amid sharply contrasting MLS form. The Crew sit near the Eastern Conference basement with just 23 points from 25 matches and a recent run of one win in seven league games, though home advantage at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field offers some offset. Orlando, sixth in the East with 34 points, arrive on a four-game unbeaten streak that includes a 3-0 shutout of Toronto and stronger recent results overall. Head-to-head history shows balanced outcomes, including an earlier 1-1 league draw, while both sides carry injury concerns that limit depth. These factors produce tightly bunched implied probabilities, with traders viewing the matchup as highly competitive given Columbus’s home setting against Orlando’s superior current momentum.
