Tee Higgins enters the 2026 NFL regular season as the Bengals' established No. 2 wide receiver opposite Ja'Marr Chase in an offense led by Joe Burrow. Higgins posted a career-high 11 receiving touchdowns in 15 games during 2025 despite modest yardage totals, continuing his role as a red-zone target. A heel contusion limited his early September practice but resolved quickly, with full participation reported by September 9 and coach Zac Taylor confirming he is on pace to start Week 1 against Tampa Bay. His four-year, $115 million extension signed in 2025 secures his spot in Cincinnati through at least 2028, supporting consistent target volume alongside the team's top passing attack. Minor preseason or in-season injuries and offensive line protection remain variables that could influence his touchdown opportunities across 17 games.
