Michael Pittman Jr. enters the 2026 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers after a March trade from the Colts, where he posted a career-high seven receiving touchdowns in 2025 on 111 targets. The move pairs him as the clear No. 2 option behind DK Metcalf in Mike McCarthy’s offense with Aaron Rodgers under center, which is expected to feature fewer passing attempts overall and increased target competition from Metcalf plus second-round rookie Germie Bernard. Pittman recovered from a training-camp hamstring injury and is cleared for the Week 1 opener against Atlanta. His possession-receiver profile and contested-catch ability have historically produced consistent volume rather than spike weeks, with no prior season exceeding seven touchdowns.
