Jaylen Waddle enters the 2026 regular season with the Denver Broncos after an offseason trade from the Miami Dolphins, positioning him as the primary wide receiver in an offense led by quarterback Bo Nix and coordinated by Sean Payton. The move follows a 2025 campaign in which he recorded six receiving touchdowns across 16 games, consistent with his career range of two to eight scores per season. Broncos coaches have emphasized Waddle’s versatility across formations during training camp, which could increase red-zone targets compared to his prior supporting role. Week 1 opens against the Kansas City Chiefs, where coverage dynamics involving L’Jarius Sneed and the presence of Courtland Sutton may influence early opportunities, while the full 17-game schedule will determine total production amid typical NFL variance in scoring.
