Ivory Coast leads the AFCON 2027 winner market at 46.8% implied probability amid a broad field where several established sides sit between 10% and 17%. Recent form from the 2025 tournament, where Morocco lifted the trophy after a controversial final against Senegal, combined with Ivory Coast’s 2023 success and deep attacking options, anchors trader consensus on the Elephants. Co-hosts Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda face qualification hurdles and infrastructure questions ahead of the June-July 2027 event, while traditional powers including Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria, and Senegal remain tightly grouped due to strong FIFA rankings, World Cup pedigree, and balanced squads. Ongoing 2026 qualifiers and potential roster changes keep the race fluid, with underdogs like South Africa and DR Congo holding realistic paths through momentum or favorable draws.
