Sienna Spiro holds a narrow edge in the 2026 VMA Best New Artist market due to her breakout momentum, including a Billboard 200 debut at No. 9 for album *Visitor*, over a billion global streams, multiple Hot 100 singles like “Die on This Hill,” and a confirmed performance slot at the Sept. 27 ceremony. The seven nominees remain tightly bunched, with CORTIS benefiting from strong K-pop fan engagement via BIGHIT MUSIC and others like Malcolm Todd and Myles Smith drawing on solid chart trajectories. Fan voting runs through Sept. 25, with the category staying open into the live show, creating potential for late swings based on visibility and industry narrative. Historical VMA trends often favor artists with broad streaming and crossover appeal in this category.
