The Scottish Premiership's battle for 10th place remains wide open early in the 2026-27 campaign, with a cluster of clubs separated by just a handful of points after seven rounds. Promoted St Johnstone have integrated steadily alongside established sides such as Aberdeen, Hibernian, Motherwell, Dundee United, St Mirren, and Kilmarnock, while Falkirk and Dundee sit nearby in the table. Multiple managerial changes, European commitments for several teams, and the typical volatility of a split-format league have prevented any side from pulling clear. Recent results show frequent swings in the lower half, keeping implied probabilities tightly bunched as squads adjust to new lineups and fixture demands.
