Eugenio Segura Vázquez leads the Quintana Roo governor race at 78.5% in trader consensus due to his September 2026 designation by Morena, the Partido Verde Ecologista de México, and the Partido del Trabajo as state coordinator for the 4T ahead of the June 2027 election. As a sitting senator who requested leave from his seat and previously served as state finance secretary under incumbent Governor Mara Lezama, Segura topped June 2026 internal polls within Morena at 36–40% preference, well ahead of rivals such as Ana Patricia Peralta and Rafael Marín Mollinedo. The coalition's unified backing, combined with Morena's dominant statewide identification in contemporaneous surveys, has consolidated expectations that the nominee will face a fragmented opposition field. Lower probabilities for listed challengers reflect the early-stage advantage of the ruling coalition's selection process and limited recent polling shifts among non-Morena contenders.
