This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most passing touchdowns. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more passing yards in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher completion percentage in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in passing touchdowns within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The opening week of the 2026 NFL season features a wide field of quarterbacks with comparable implied probabilities for leading in passing touchdowns, driven by uncertain single-game variables. Rosters remain largely intact following training camp, but Week 1 matchups, offensive line health, and defensive vulnerabilities create a level playing field where no clear favorite emerges. Recent roster moves and scheme installations across multiple teams have kept options open, while historical patterns show passing touchdowns often distribute among several passers in season openers due to conservative play-calling and weather factors. The bunched pricing reflects trader consensus on this inherent unpredictability, with upside hinging on late injury reports or unexpected volume in favorable home environments.
