DeVonta Smith enters the 2026 season as the Philadelphia Eagles' clear No. 1 wide receiver following A.J. Brown's offseason trade to New England, positioning him for a larger target share in an offense featuring Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and tight end Dallas Goedert. After posting 77 receptions for 1,008 yards and four touchdowns across 17 games in 2025, the 27-year-old has drawn projections in the 1,000–1,100-yard range from multiple analysts. A hamstring injury limited him during training camp and the preseason, but he returned to full participation by late August and is expected to suit up for Week 1. The Eagles added depth with rookie Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks, Marquise Brown, and Elijah Moore under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, which could distribute targets more evenly, though Smith's route-running precision and established chemistry with Hurts support elevated volume in a potentially rebounding passing attack.
