Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, and Borussia Dortmund sit at the top of the closely bunched implied probabilities for most clean sheets in the 2026-27 Bundesliga because each enters the campaign with proven defensive foundations and targeted reinforcements. Bayern’s Vincent Kompany-led side, which conceded just 36 goals last term, added athletic depth in Ismaël Saibari and Nathaniel Brown while retaining Manuel Neuer’s experience. Dortmund, the league’s stingiest defense in 2025-26 under Niko Kovač, rely on Gregor Kobel and a restructured back line despite early injury absences. Leverkusen’s summer additions of Facundo Medina and Miguel Gutiérrez aim to address prior vulnerabilities. Early-season results from sides like Freiburg and Augsburg, plus promoted teams’ varying defensive records, keep the race open, with traders viewing multiple clubs as having comparable paths to the most shutouts over 34 matchdays.
