Brock Bowers enters the 2026 NFL season as the clear focal point of the Las Vegas Raiders' passing attack under new head coach Klint Kubiak, with limited competition from the wide receiver room and improved quarterback options in Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza. The third-year tight end posted a record-setting rookie campaign in 2024 before a lingering left knee injury limited him to 12 games and seven receiving touchdowns in 2025. Most immediately, Bowers underwent a meniscus trim procedure on September 9 after sustaining the injury in training camp and is expected to miss one or two games, including the Week 1 matchup against the Dolphins. Michael Mayer will handle primary tight end duties in the interim. A full return and sustained availability would position Bowers for elevated target volume in a scheme built around his versatility, though early absences and any recurrence of knee issues could cap his overall touchdown total.
