PSV Eindhoven, Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, and Feyenoord sit tightly grouped in the runner-up market because each enters the 2026-27 Eredivisie with rebuilt squads and proven domestic track records. PSV’s three straight titles and heavy summer investment underpin its narrow lead in trader pricing, while Ajax’s ambitious window and rebound from last season’s struggles keep it close behind. AZ’s fast start and defensive organization fuel its share despite lower historical expectations, and Feyenoord’s retained core plus midweek European demands create a realistic path to second. Twente’s early points haul adds further depth, leaving the race open as form, injuries, and fixture congestion begin to separate the contenders.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Eredivisie for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Eredivisie (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Eredivisie; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
