Stephen Curry’s strong preference to finish his career with the Golden State Warriors underpins the market’s heavy lean toward that outcome. Entering the final year of his current deal, the 38-year-old has repeatedly stated his desire to remain in Golden State, a message reinforced by general manager Mike Dunleavy and owner Joe Lacob in recent weeks. Both sides have expressed optimism about an extension, with Curry eligible for a two-year maximum worth up to roughly $136.7 million. The absence of credible trade requests or competing suitors further cements trader consensus. A shift would require Curry to seek a move despite his public commitment and the organization’s willingness to accommodate him, an unlikely scenario given ongoing alignment on winning and long-term stability.
